Lotus Lust

There is a duality that every soul must face; to be fulfilled or to be satisfied.

 At first thought, the desires may appear similar, obtained by travelling the same path. But, as one journeys forwards, the path of satisfaction reveals itself to be endless. A descending spiral meant to consume the soul.  An addiction enslaving the mind to pleasure. Satisfaction wants you weak. Needing. Constantly seeking its embrace. It is a parasite on the pursuit of happiness.

That is not to say that you should not enjoy the moments satisfaction intertwines with your life. Great delight can be attained from basking in the gratifying glow. But let it just be a moment. Fleeting. For satisfaction is not the only star in the universe.

Instead, seek to be fulfilled, for it is everlasting. The path of fulfillment is one of inner peace. Each step forward provides focus and clarity, giving way to simplicity and understanding. It enriches the soul with majesty, allowing the soul to ascend beyond temporary satiation. Refined into its destined state, the soul blossoms with purpose. Becoming a star itself.

A beautiful completion awaits all that are willing to forgo the temptation of indulgence. Strive past the high of a moment and obtain the core of your existence. Know your self. Know your goals. For that knowledge will never fail you. It is the key to unlocking true realization. Lust for your inner light.
